Jason was born and raised in Southern Louisiana where food is king! He has been highly influenced by Southern, Cajun and Creole cooking. Jason has worked in restaurants since 1998 and has a passion in seeing the look on someone's face after eating good food. In Louisiana there are two sayings: "If you go home hungry it's your own dang fault." And, "We live to eat, not eat to live." Two sayings that he lives by. Jason has cooked in many competitions and placed in all of them. His chili has only finished in first place.
