Janice Skousen

Janice Skousen loves to cook.  Recently she retired from teaching middle school after 20 years.  She has traveled all over the world paying attention to the wonderful combinations of foods and spices bringing home new ideas for family meals.  She reads cookbooks for bedtime stories.  Having a family of 6 children always meant planning and preparing meals for the family dinner.  Now with 13 grandchildren she loves to cook and share her ideas with her family and friends.  In 1990 she was "Miss Utah Beef" and went to the National Cookoff in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Planning and creating meals have always been exciting experiences for her.  Teaching cooking classes has been a fun expression of her love for cooking
